The Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI) is an Arab regional, non-governmental and non-profit organization, founded in 2003 by a group of judges, specialists in rule of law, lawyers and academics from various Arab countries.


The Lebanese President issued 32 new laws approved by the House of Representatives

 Current Projects

Project on “Improving Capacities to Fight Human Trafficking in Lebanon” (December 2016 - March 2018)

ACRLI is implementing the project of improving capacities to fight human trafficking in Lebanon, which is supported by a grant from the United States Department of State. The overall objective of the project is to improve the application of Lebanon’s Anti-Trafficking Law 164/2011. The project shall support the Lebanese Justice system to combat trafficking in persons, using strategies of collaboration, engagement process, capacity building and awareness activities.

 

Project on “Enhancing Protection for Vulnerable Women and Girls among the Internal Displaced Persons from Sexual Gender Based Violence and Trafficking in Iraq” (June 2016 - April 2017)

The project purpose is to prevent sexual violence and protect the victims of sexual violence in Iraq. The project aims to protect the women girls by providing assistance to the abused women and girls, victims of sexual violence and trafficking, in support to the principles of access to justice and equality before the law.

 National Workshop on “Trafficking in Persons”, 21 June 2016
The Arab Center for the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI) in cooperation with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) organized a national workshop on “Trafficking in Persons” was held on June 21, 2016 at Gefinor Rotana Hotel, Beirut, Lebanon.

Project “NGOs are Stronger Together (NST)”
ACRLI has participated in the launching of the project “NGOs are Stronger Together” (NST), organized by MEPI Lebanon Alumni Association- LAA, with the support of the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) on March 24, 2016.
“NGOs are stronger together (NST)" is a civil society coalition that fosters stronger coordination, communication and collaboration between NGOs for the purpose of achieving results and bringing about reform. Read more...

Seminar on "Rule of Law and Social Security"
The Arab Center for the development of the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI) organized a Seminar on "Rule of Law and Social Security", to be held on March 5, 2015 in Beirut, Badaro at ACRLI's premises.
